As one is led by an art form to another, Xandrine discovered painting by chance -through ballet’s leading.
Wanting to immortalize her love of dance in a painting, she took up the brush. Hence, the discovery of an insatiable need to experience spirituality in this creative expression. So at 17, without any formal training nor previously observed inclination, her art modality found her at its appointed time.
Xandrine now primarily focuses on female portraits and figures in motion. Her love of dance endures in capturing the grace of the human form. Xandrine’s work is often rooted in evoking the ethereal; all that is light, delicate, beautiful, and otherworldly, with themes of flora, fauna, and magic realism.
Here she thrives.
For what really is the point of art if not to compel the world by giving life to what moves the Creative internally, first.
After all, it is the Artist herself that brings the soul, the divine to life.
In an effort to raise awareness on Climate Change, Xandrine partnered with the Department of Education of the Republic of the Philippines and the Knowledge Channel to produce eco-journals for public school distribution in Metro Manila.
Xandrine's body of work include campaigns for Philippine National, Mid-term and Local Elections.
Xandrine collaborated with an international photo journalist in support of relief movements for the global refugee crisis, especially for children.
